Who Is Maddox Initiative?

Maddox Initiative represents a new vision on first responder career transition coaching and leadership consultancy. MI is led by our CEO, Eric Maddox, a former law enforcement officer with 13 years of police experience and leadership, including 7 years in police special operations as a master K9 handler on SWAT and various police special operations units. In the private sector Eric has led complex multi departmental teams while working for fortune 500 companies, and now a technology company ranked number 70 on the list of 500 fastest growing companies in the United States, to achieve success and win the mission.

"During my own transition from law enforcement to the technology industry, I encountered significant challenges in adapting to a "civilian" role within the private sector. It became evident that there was a lack of robust support for first responders seeking to make this transition. Additionally, I recognized a significant deficit in leadership skills among individuals at the executive level and throughout various organizations within the private sector.

Through my agile coaching techniques, I have developed a unique approach to support first responders as they navigate the transition into the private sector. Our services extend to private sector employees who lack first responder experience but can benefit from learning the leadership principles employed in police special operations for effective leadership, success, and a winning mindset."
